BTS' "Dynamite" Hits 98.2 Million YouTube View the First 24 Hours!

Following its release BTS's "Dynamite" has received an astounding number of views in just 24 hours! The band returned on August 21 at 1 p.m. KST with their English digital single "Dynamite." Approximately 98.2 million people had viewed the song's video on YouTube in just 24 hours! BTS currently holds the official record for the highest number of views in the first 24 hours for a boy group with their song “Boy With Luv,” which YouTube confirmed to sit at 74.6 million views. 

Real-time view numbers on YouTube frequently diverge from the platform's official figure. For instance, YouTube revealed that the official count for "Boy With Luv" was 74.6 million views, but the unofficial total for the first 24 hours was almost 78.1 million views (the amount that was displayed on YouTube prior to modifications for the final tally).
