“It took Jimin ONLY 393 days to once again make history and achieve 1 BILLION streams in the fastest time ever for a K-pop soloist. He was the member of BTS to have a Spotify account, but he is now the FASTEST Korean soloist to achieve the 1 Billion Streams. He has surpassed his own band member Jung Kook who held onto that title. Update: Guinness World Record confirmed the record on 26th May 2023.

Jimin has become the fastest solo K-pop artist to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify (male) in just 393 days. Guiness World Records reports, Jimin’s six-track EP FACE was uploaded to Spotify on 24 March and was the catalyst for his surge in popularity, with support from the singles “With You” (feat. Ha Sung-woon), “VIBE” (TAEYANG feat. Jimin), “Set Me Free Pt. 2” and “Angel Pt. 1” (feat. Kodak Black, NLE Choppa, JVKE & Muni Long). He also had a five-track EP titled Like Crazy and even released singles “Promise” (2018) and “Christmas Love” (2020) exclusively on Soundcloud.
