“BTS’ Jung Kook shared the teaser for his upcoming collaboration with Jack Harlow, ‘3D’ set to drop this Friday, September 29, 2023. At the 2023 Global Citizen Festival in New York, where he appeared as the headlining act, Jungkook promised a new release dubbed “3D” on September 23 local time. A strange teaser video for the song started playing after he exited the stage, igniting online rumors. Soon after, BIGHIT MUSIC made it known that “3D” was a brand-new solo digital single featuring Jack Harlow. The agency wrote,
“Jung Kook’s second solo single, ‘3D (featuring Jack Harlow),’ is a pop R&B track with clever expressions of feelings toward an unattainable person from the perspectives of first, second, and third dimensions. Get ready to meet an even more mature side of Jung Kook following ‘Seven (featuring Latto).’”
Prior to this, Jungkook stated on Suga’s talk program “Suchwita” that he intended to release “one more single, and then… a small mini album later” following the release of his successful solo debut song “Seven” in July.
