BTS Achieves First No. 1 Debut on Billboard's Hot 100 Chart with 'Dynamite!

BTS has made history once again, securing their first-ever No. 1 debut on Billboard's prestigious Hot 100 chart with their chart-topping hit 'Dynamite.' The upbeat and infectious track, which dropped on August 21, 2020, has captured the hearts of fans worldwide and dominated the music charts since its release. 'Dynamite' marks BTS's first English-language single, further showcasing their versatility and global appeal. The song's music video broke records, becoming the biggest premiere in YouTube history by attracting at least 3 million concurrent viewers. The video also set a new all-time record for YouTube video views in the first 24 hours, garnering over 101.1 million in the first day, according to YouTube.

“Dynamite,” released Aug. 21 at midnight ET, had 33.9 million U.S. streams and 300,000 sold in its first week, ending Aug. 27, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. It also drew 11.6 million radio airplay audience impressions in the week ending Aug. 30. According to Billboard, BTS had Biggest digital sales week in nearly 3 years.
