ARMY TRENDS #SHININGTHROUGHHOT100 AFTER BTS HITS 3RD NO. 1 ON BILLBOARD HOT 100

BTS PAVED THE WAY! I think now nobody can deny that. It has been that way for a long time and for those who are coming to the party late, the results have always been there. A little kind reminder incase you forgot; BTS broke records on YouTube with the release of “Dynamite” last month. The song’s music video amassed 101.1 million views in the first 24 hours of its release on YouTube. This is the most views for a music video in its first 24 hours on the platform. ‘Dynamite’ also set a new all-time record for the biggest music video premiere with over 3 million peak concurrent viewers immediately upon release on YouTube. For more records check out my last post.

‘Dynamite’ hit no. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 Charts upin debut, stayed at no. 1 for two consecutive weeks, was consistent at no. 2 for two consecutive weeks, and now has repeaked at no. 1 for its fifth week. The math just adds up 1+1+2+2+1 =7. 7 has been a significant number for BTS. This year 2020 is their 7th Year Anniversary since they debuted, the band has 7 members (Jin, Suga, Jhope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook) and their latest Album this year is Map Of The Soul :7.

Soon after the announcement was made ARMY #ShinningThroughHot100 became the number 1 trend worldwide followed by #BTS3rdHot100, #DynamiteRepeak, #JIMIN, #LifeIsDynamite #BTS1onHot100, #1Again, among other trends. BTS has taken up the top 10 Twitter trends with all hashtags related to Billboard Hot 100 charts. Now that is the power of the Kings of Twitter trends.
