BTS ‘DYNAMITE’ MV SURPASSES 400 MILLION VIEWS

Dynamite’ has officially surpassed 400 million views on YouTube. It becomes the fastest Asian act to achieve that milestone and 5th fastest of all time. ‘Dynamite was released on 21st August 2020. The BTS MV also broke records on YouTube with its release. The song’s music video amassed a record 101.1 million views in the first 24 hours of its release, according to YouTube. This is the most views for a music video in its first 24 hours!


The video also set a new all-time record for the biggest music video premiere with over 3 million peak concurrent viewers immediately upon release last month.

‘Dynamite’ was a song that had been anticipated for a long time, so its no surprise the kind of successes it is achieving. A song to bring joy and healing in a time of despair.

In a recent interview with ET, RM said that recording “Dynamite” was “a huge, enormous challenge for all of us. We decided to do it to try something new… in this current situation, the pandemic,”

RM even praised his band members for doing “quite well” with their English. “When we first listened to the demo, we just loved it.”

‘Dynamite’ is also the most commented on Music Video in youtube history with 7.48 million comments and is tied with ‘Boy With Luv ft. Halsey’ for having 18+ million likes

BTS have been shining with ‘Dynamite’ debuting at No. 1 on Billboards Hottest 100 Charts being the first South Korean group to reach the top of the chart. ‘Dynamite’ stayed at No. 1 for 2 weeks and has continued at no. 2 for week 3&4.


BTS is now at work on their next Album, set for release sometime before end of 2020. This will be a different Album in that BTS themselves will be playing bigger roles in producing it. From the music to the visuals, BTS have divided up responsibilities in making the Album great, and we are looking foward to the end result as we know it will be biggee than what we imagine, because its BTS!
