Jungkook’s ‘My Time’ day 2 performance of Map of the Soul One has ARMY loosing their minds. It is safe to say that our chocolate chip KOOKIE has turned into KOOKIE monster! His performance was off the charts on day onoooe but we were not prepared for day two. From the outfit showing off his well built muscles, to his vocals and performance that was 1000% upgrade from yesterday. Jungkook performing is always on another level, just his intense stares and facial expressions will literally have you on your knees.
Jungkook is the ultimate performer. He knows how to hit the right notes and move fluidly with the rhythm of the song. Watching him dance is like curling on your sofa with hot chocolate on a rainy day, watching as the drops slides down your glass window, completely calming yet exciting at the same time. Jungkook dances with his whole body, heart and soul, and especially his eyes, those eyes that tell stories just by a single stare, he will have you hooked and never want to look away.
He is such a professional that he will always want to perfect everything before he accepts it as enough, he is the biggest critic of himself, always wanting to do more. And it is that kind of discipline that makes him one of the best dancers in BTS and the world as a whole.
Jungkook’s “My Time” performance gave us the opportunity to see the grown Jungkook who knows what he wants and does it to perfection. He embodies that art of dance in such a way that it is hard to see any flaws, if any when he is fully immersed in the performance. “My Time” is a kind of longing and Jungkook dances to its every word with pleading eyes that say ‘give me my time’ or ‘this is my time’.
Truly a masterpiece of a performance that will not be forgotten any time soon, this was his stage and he worked it in all angles and every beat to create his own orchestra and art in the music.
