HERE’S WHAT BTS’ JUNGKOOK WISHED FOR IN 2017 THAT HAS COME TRUE IN 2020

When BTS decided to release “Dynamite” they said it was not a plan that they had because they were working on their new album. They heard the song and thought it would be great for the current situation. And they were right, not only is the song breaking records and ruling the charts, but the beat and feel of the song just brings happiness. You cannot help but bop to it no matter where you are. After their Map of The Soul ON:E Concert which drew in audiences from 191 countries, it is clear that BTS have much more influence than the world may expect. Add that to the fact that the world has 195 countries, and it really hits home that BTS’ message really does transcend countries, races and languages.

In every growth stage that BTS has gone through, they have shared with ARMY their utmost intimate thoughts and fears. Perhaps that is what makes them so relatable and able to touch many different lives with their music. It is their genuineness, loyalty and humble nature that has made them be loved all over the world. Most people have come to fall in love with BTS if not their music but their everyday life experiences that they have shared with ARMY. From their rookie days on ‘American Hustle Life’, ‘Rookie King’ to their episodes in ‘RUN BTS’, ‘Bon Voyage’ and recently ‘In the Soop with BTS’, Ji, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook have taken us with them on their precious journey.

The release of the concept photo for BTS new Album “BE”, has brought with it memories of the Bon Voyage Season 2 episode where BTS were reading letters written to each other. Before the episode ended, each member said their wish for the future. Jungkook’s wish was to produce an album on their own, from the directing to the outfits for that Album.

That was in 2017, fast forward to 2020 and BTS is making that wish come true. With their release of “Dynamite’, BTS have literally saved 2020. A year that started well but declined and led to a lot of sadness and hopelessness. V spoke of ‘Dynamite’ “I hope fans will draw a lot of energy from this new song.”

BTS producing and having the creative freedom to produce the Album themselves fully is not somewhat a surprise, from the beginning BTS have been writing most of their lyrics to songs, whether their solo songs or for BTS as a whole. They have always had a say or input to the kinds of music they want to share with the world. Now they will not only write the lyrics to the songs in their “BE” Album, they will be directing, be in charge of the visuals, camera work and arrangement of the whole album. “BE” will be released on November 20 at 2 PM (KST). Pre orders ongoing, do not miss!

Jungkook got his wish at last. The “BE” Album will be BTS first Album where they will develop themselves.
