BTS SUGA’s album “D-DAY” has surpassed 300 million streams on SpotifyIt is the 2nd fastest album by a k-pop soloist to reach this milestone (47 days). “D-DAY” is the FASTEST rap album by an Asian Act to surpass 300M streams! It is also the Fastest full length album by a K-pop/Asian Soloist to achieve the milestone. The album was released on April 21, 2023. According to the Hanteo Chart, D-Day sold 1,072,311 copies worldwide on its first day, surpassing the record previously set by Jimin of BTS, who sold 1,021,532 copies of his debut solo album Face on its release day in March.
Agust D became the second Korean solo artist in Hanteo Chart history, after Jimin, to surpass one million first day sales. In the United States, D-Day debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 with 140,000 album-equivalent units, including 122,000 pure album sales (90% of which were CD sales). It is Suga’s first top-10 album in the US.
SUGA is currently on tour. “SUGA | Agust D” Tour is the first worldwide concert tour by SUGA also known as Agust D, it is in support of his debut studio album, “D-Day.” The tour commenced on April 26, 2023, in Belmont, New York, and will end on June 25, 2023, in Seoul, South Korea. The tour was for 20 shows in the United States, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, and South Korea. On March 10, 2023, new shows were announced for June 2–4 at the Pia Arena MM in Kanagawa, Japan. Additional shows in Singapore and Bangkok, Thailand were announced on April 5, 2023
