FACE album by Jimin of BTS has already surpassed over 700 million streams on the largest streaming site in the world. “FACE album released on March 24, 2023, is now the most streamed album by a Korean soloist on Spotify cementing his domination in the music world. His song “Like Crazy” earned him a #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 which made him break many records and set new ones. The album comprises five songs, all co-written by Jimin.
“FACE” became the first solo artist in Hanteo Chart history to achieve 1.45 million sales in its first week, selling over 1 million copies on its launch day. The album then debuted at number one on the Circle Album Chart. It topped the charts for Oricon Albums, Digital Albums, and Hot Albums on Billboard Japan in Japan. In 2023, Jimin is the first solo artist to enter both Oricon album charts at number one.
“FACE” became the highest charting album by a South Korean solo artist in Billboard chart history when it debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200. Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Lithuania, Switzerland, and New Zealand were among the other countries where it peaked in the top ten.
