After such a roller coaster of emotion during SUGA’s last concert in his D-DAY mini-world tour, the announcement that we were not expecting just dropped. SUGA will be the 3rd BTS member to enlist in the military. He will be joining Jin who was the first then followed by j-hope. SUGA has had a successful 28 shows during his tour and his newest album “D-DAY” has broken many records since its release. SUGA held a Weverse live after his Seoul concert, and he might have been hinting at this announcement when he said that telling ARMYs he will see them soon would be a lie so he will just tell them that they will see each other in 2025. The label BIGHIT Music wrote,

We would like to inform our fans that SUGA has initiated the military enlistment process by applying for the termination of his enlistment postponement.
We will inform you of further updates in due course.

It was first announced in 2022 that all the members would fulfill their mandatory military service and would be going according to their individual schedules. Fans have been anticipating these announcements and it always comes unexpected whenever the announcement is made that a particular member would be leaving for the limitary. Now 3 out of the 7 members will be in the military. It was reported that all the remaining members would enlist at the end of this year, but now that SUGA is the next one to leave we will wait and see if that will be the case.
