In this year's Hanteo Music Awards, BTS' maknae line (Jimin, V and Jung Kook) won several awards at the show. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the inaugural ceremony took place online for all categories, prioritizing the safety of both fans and artists. In 2022, Hanteo Global celebrated the chart's 30th anniversary by hosting its first in-person awards show.
