BTS BREAKS RECORD BY BECOMING THE 1ST ARTIST TO SIMULTANEOUSLY RULE BILLBOARD’S HOT 100 CHARTS, GLOBAL EXCL. U.S & GLOBAL 200

 

BTS have achieved the first Billboard ALL Kill! BTS is on a global roller coaster of breaking records. The introduction of the new Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts that were launched on 14 September 2020 have not stopped BTS from taking over all the charts in a single week! According to Billboard, the Global 200 show the most popular tracks globally, based on sales and streaming data from more than 200 territories while the Global Excl. U.S features data collected from territories excluding the United States. BTS ‘Dynamite’ had no. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 for 2 consecutive weeks, then  no. 2 for 2 consecutive weeks and now re peaked at no. 1 for its 5th week.

Dynamite’s global success has come through to show that their music is loved and enjoyed all over the world. The music has transcended countries, language, race, location because it has one message, Love Yourself, Speak Yourself. Billboard reports that ‘Dynamite’s’ success has largely come from the 92.1 million global streams which went up by 16 percent from the previous week and the song had 58,000 global downloads with an incredible 102 percent increase. ‘Dynamite’ is the first song to top Digital Song Sales for five weeks.

ARMY are now looking forward to BTS new Album set to be released on 20th November 2020 and expectations are high that it will again Top the charts and ARMY is ready for their next new challenge.

On the Billboard Hot 100, “Dynamite” is the first song among duos or groups to tally at least three weeks at No. 1 in almost two years.
