Jin is fifth in line to get his concept photo released. His room is filled with jeweled tones of lavender, blues and white that represent his love for all things simple but elegant. He is sitting on a lavender couch wearing lavender pants and his pastel blue robe matches the blue tones and hues around the room. The color lavender is associated with the youthful, untamed growth found in nature during springtime. Lavender shades have a sacred place in nature, with lavender, orchid, lilac, and violet flowers considered delicate and precious.
The color lavender suggests uniqueness and specialness, what perfectly describes Kim Seok-jin aka Jin aka Worldwide Handsome. Jin has grown into this precious soul that has been building up his confidence knowing that the first person that should treasure you is the self. His true confidence conceivably the most beautiful thing about him, knowing it wasn’t built just yesterday but he worked to “achieve” the self-love, acceptance and peace of mind.
In one of BTS’s vlogs on BangtanTV that featured V, J-Hope and RM, RM had mentioned the concept suggesting, “We can start with simple drawings, like small rooms of our own. We can design them however we like and the staff could find the props that we need. Starting from the sketch, we can design our own sets, even what we wear.” J-Hope said, they discussed that individual shots could be done according to each member’s concept idea.
“Hello, welcome to Jin’s room. I am the curator Jin. The point of this room which is bedecked with gems is that you can never tell what is a jewel and what isn’t. when I first stepped into this room I was immediately shocked and overwhelmed by the sight of this huge gemstone. But it turns out it was me all along. Aren’t you immediately mesmerized by the largest gem in this room, too? Have you perhaps forgotten along the way, that each and every one of you is a unique and precious gem? Never forget to cherish yourself, and always remember you are a sparkling gem, always remember to sparkle with confidence just like me”
