BTS JUNG KOOK’S “SEVEN” FEAT. LATTO SPENDS ITS 5TH CONSECUTIVE WEEK AT #1 ON BOTH GLOBAL 200 AND GLOBAL EXCL. US. BILLBOARD CHARTS


BTS Jung Kook’s “Seven” feat. Latto spends its 5th consecutive week at #1 on both Global 200 and Global Excl. US. Billboard Charts. Jungkook’s “Seven” is now the 2nd Longest charting song by K-pop and Korean act at #1 on Billboard Global Excl US, ties with BTS’ “Butter”, “Dakati”, “Peaches” and “Bad Habits” as the 5th longest #1 running song on Billboard Global 200 Excl. US. Songs by male acts with the most weeks receiving over 100 million streams on Billboard Global 200 in history: #1 “As It Was” (5) by Harry Styles and #1. “Seven” (5) by Jung Kook feat. Latto. The song debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and the Global 200, becoming both Jungkook and Latto’s first number-one on those charts.

With around 16 million streams, “Seven” set a record for the highest opening-day streaming for a male artist and collaboration in history and the biggest debut of 2023. It also debuted at the top of the daily Global Spotify Chart. Jungkook became the first K-pop performer to top the U.S. Spotify chart and the first Korean solo artist to make their chart debut at the top overall.

On its first day (July 14, 2023) in the United States, “Seven” received 5.11 million on-demand streams and sold more over 34,000 digital downloads, according to Luminate. Over the following three days, it continued to generate over 2.5 million streams each day, amassing 13.7 million streams in its first four days of release, and selling an additional 32,000 digital copies during that period.
